| Description |
World Congresses of Psychiatry are held every three years in various locations around the world, organized by the World Psychiatric Assocation. The theme of the congress is "Partnership for Mental Health". It is the first World Congress in Asia, and will introduce Asian and Japanese culture as well as psychiatry through a scientific and social program that has been developed over the last three years. The City of Yokohama provides an excellent location for the congress in its convention facilities and easy access to Tokyo, Kyoto, and numerous tourist and sightseeing areas. We are expecting over 10,000 articipants including individuals from various mental health professions, governments, and various organizations in addition to psychiatrists. Detailed information and an online service for submitting program proposals and registering can be found at the Congress website.
