| Description |
The conference will deal with the synthesis, characterisation, properties and applications of framework modified crystallised or organised porous solids (zeolites, phosphate-based materials, mesoporous solids) by isomorphous substitution with transition metals.
The aim is an assessment of the relationship between methods of isomorphous substitution, location of the transition metals in the framework and properties of the substituted materials. It should open the way to progress in the synthesis of known and novel materials and the tailoring of their properties. The development of new applications is also expected.
The meeting will have sessions of talks on: Synthesis; Characterisation; Adsorption and Catalysis.
It will be the first meeting ever held entirely devoted to this class of materials. The scientific programme will include 13 invited lectures, 8 sessions of short oral presentations of selected posters given by young researchers, 8 half an hour discussion sessions chaired by leading scientists, 4 poster sessions, and 2 round-table discussions chaired by industrial researchers. There will be no Proceedings and no Book of Abstracts.
