The 31st annual meeting of the Society for Cross-Cultural Research will be held from February 20 to February 24, 2002 at La Fonda On the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It will be held in conjunction with the 2002 annual conference of The Association for the Study of Play (TASP).

The Society for Cross-Cultural Research is a multidisciplinary association of behavioral scientists, whose purpose is to support and encourage interdisciplinary, comparative research that has as its objective the establishment of scientifically derived generalizations about human behavior. Its membership encompasses the anthropological, psychological, and social sciences.

Registration: Advance registration through February 1, 2002. On-site registration will be available at the conference. Registration will include a copy of the preliminary program, the final program and abstracts, a hand-crocheted Guatemalan bag, a wine & cheese reception, and refreshments between sessions.
