| Description |
While systems engineering and project management tools have become increasingly sophisticated and gained popular acceptance throughout aerospace, many practical implementation issues continue to vex industry and government alike. One of the most critical areas of continued difficulty has been the identification and resolution of requirement conflicts. Quite often, these conflicts go unidentified until late in the design cycle, resulting in schedule slips and budget delays. This four-hour course provides some tools and techniques for identifying and resolving requirement conflicts. Topics covered will include hard techniques such as requirements flow-down and soft techniques related to project management.
