| Description |
Conference Objectives:
· To identify the multidimensional, functional, and holistic needs of patients along the continuum of care.
· To define integrated approaches for reducing disease morbidity and promoting optimal quality of life.
· To understand the importance of early assessment and intervention in cancer rehabilitation.
Intended Audience:
Healthcare professionals working in oncology care, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, mental health, and other allied healthcare professions. Continuing education credits for nurses, social workers, counselors, physical and occupational therapists, certified rehabilitation counselors, certified case managers, pharmacists, and registered dietitians will be provided for individuals who attend all daily sessions and complete an evaluation at the conclusion of the conference. The sponsor will assist other professionals in providing written documentation of attendance for application of CEUs.

Conference Location and Hotel Information:
All sessions will be held at the Fawcett Hotel and Conference Center on the campus of The Ohio State University. A block of hotel rooms has been made available at the special rate of $79.00 plus tax. To ensure these rates, please reserve your room by January 23, 2002, by calling (800) 637-2316 or directly at (614) 292-3238 and indicate you are reserving for the Cancer Rehabilitation Conference. The conference facility is a barrier-free location and no individual with a disability will be discriminated against because of the absence of auxiliary aids and services. Free parking is available for all attendees.

Conference Registration:
To request the conference registration brochure, please call Kimberly Holle, MS, at the JamesCare for Life program office at (614) 293-6428. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged. The registration fee includes all educational sessions, program materials, continental breakfasts, breaks, and lunches.
