Description This conference will focus on the metrics within corporations who also have an e-Business division/initiative. The topics will include discussions related to metrics, measurements, benchmarking and other related topics. People in this industry want to hear stories from other companies who have implemented and have information on what works for their needs, so they may tailor those applications to meet their specific company needs. The lessons learned of metrics applications is key to companies who need to improve the metrics application they have as well as looking into different approaches. Best practices. The gap between analysis and actual realistic experience is an area that needs attention. Companies need to ensure overall IT expenditures are justified and maximized- they need to measure the performance of ERP implementations, CRM initiatives, billing systems, HR systems, finance systems. They also need to create efficient measurement systems that measure performance across operating divisions to avoid redundancies and create comparisons. Companies will be upgrading the ways in which they measure internal processes as well as always looking for ways to upgrade their reporting structures. Benchmarking is a key component and will be a key focus of the conference. Companies must benchmark performance against others by means of internal comparisons, competitive comparisons and general cross-sector comparisons.
