Designed to provide delegates with the knowledge to develop and implement a complete operational risk management approach at their firm. Delegates will learn the latest strategies and methodologies for financing and managing operational risk. Then, they will work through the steps needed to calculate regulatory and economic capital and allocate it to the business lines of the firm. Delegates will also gain a thorough understanding of the important steps to developing effective management of operational risk using control self-assessment and key risk indicators. The course will also include information on the latest methodologies for calculating operational risk capital under consideration by the BIS Risk Management Group.
