The course takes you through the world of (geo)physical possibilities to solve your geotechnical, hydrological and environmental problems. Based on experience also the relative advantages and disadvantages of the various (geo)physical methods will be treated extensively.

It is a continuing education course that includes technical presentations by major (geo)physical consultants and suppliers in Europe, in addition to presentations by users and decision makers.

The basic theory of geophysical methods (e.g. seismics, subbottom profiling, ground penetrating radar, (electro-)magnetics, tomography, magnetometry, gravimetry, borehole measurements and special cone penetration tests) will be treated and illustrated by case histories.
