Description

This two-day course will explore a broad range of state-of-the-art technologies in solid rocket advancement. Topics including new paradigm for internal flow analysis, coupled launcher and booster optimization, modern thrust vector control device, insulation erosion evaluation, advanced propellant development, principle of aluminum combustion, and new combustion instability analysis for solid rocket motors will be discussed by both domestic and international experts of the field. The course will also emphasize current practices in both analytical and experimental approaches within the U.S. industry and government labs, as well as advances as pursued by the European and Japanese solid rocket industries.
