There will be over 60 internationally recognized speakers from within and outside the region presenting their lectures on the latest advances in the physiological and life sciences in plenary sessions, special lectures and symposia on a veriety of topics. Participants will be able to present their work in free-communication oral and poster sessions and interact with their colleagues from various countries.

A major topic in this congress will be issues in the teaching and learning of physiology, and we have devoted a large proportion of one day during the congress to discuss the topic. Our workshops on computer aided-learning and problem-based learning reflect the interest of our members.
