Organic light emitting device (OLED) fabrication technology continues to make rapid advances in the international display industry. The market outlook for this revolutionary display technology is explosive due to its superior viewing qualities, low manufacturing cost and potential in the digital imaging industry. OLED technology continues to threaten LCD technology in the global display marketplace but fabrication has been hampered by large-scale production possibilities.

This seminar will be led by Dr. Ghassan E. Jabbour of the Optical Sciences Center at the University of Arizona, a recognized expert and consultant in the field of fabrication, characterization, and the testing of organic (polymeric and small-molecule) light-emitting devices for rigid and flexible display applications.
