The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Standard Market Design is intended to create effective and dynamically competitive electric markets that are in the public interest. Naturally, the proposed widespread restructuring has sparked much debate and controversy throughout the industry. With the initial responses due in mid-October, CBI has assembled a distinguished faculty of speakers who will address the items of most concern, both nationally and on an individual level.

Attend CBI’s timely “Industry Responses to the NOPR on Standard Market Design” conference to gain insights on establishing non-discriminatory transmission policies, incentivizing transmission expansion, restructuring transmission pricing, re-engineering market and system operations, inter-RTO coordination, potential financial consequences of SMD and congestion management.

Over 30 speakers from leading industry companies including the American Transmission Company, the California ISO, Conectiv Power Delivery, Edison Electric Institute, FERC, FirstEnergy, ISO New England, the Michigan Electric Transmission Company, Michigan PSC, Midwest ISO, National Grid USA, the New York ISO, PacifiCorp, PG&E National Energy Group, PJM Interconnection, PPL Corporation, PSE&G, the Southwest Power Pool, Trans-Elect, and WestConnect will discuss the impact of Standard Market Design on their businesses and on the marketplace as a whole.
