To facilitate increased awareness and participation, the TC20/SC14 TAG leadership will hold a seminar aimed at key decision makers. This seminar will include discussions on the international focus of the aerospace industry, the current status of SC14, where SC14 standards are currently being used, and the potential impacts of these standards on U.S. companies.

Additionally, two key issues that will face U.S. aerospace firms in the near future, orbital debris and an increased European emphasis on environmentally safe design and disposal, and how they will be affected by international standardization will be addressed.

Planned speakers include high-level industry representatives currently engaged in standardization as well as the SC14 TAG leaders. A special session dealing with the issue of space insurance is also planned.
