Transfreight is a fully integrated Logistics Engineering and Logistics Systems Design provider backed by the strength of two world leaders: Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and TNT Logistics. This background, coupled with experience, has enabled Transfreight to provide superior Supply Chain Management services including route management, materials handling, and the implementation of lean principles.
All of these services work together towards the primary focus which is to facilitate the flow of inbound parts into repetitive manufacturing plants that practice lean manufacturing techniques. Transfreight is committed to designing and implementing logistics systems that get the right product to the right place at the right time for the right cost.
Transfreight was incorporated in 1987 as a Joint Venture between TNT Limited and Mitsui & Co, Limited. Transfreight's corporate headquarters are in Cambridge, Ontario Canada and Erlanger, Kentucky. Transfreight began operations in 1988 as the sole logistics partner for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc., with vehicle assembly operations in Cambridge, Ontario. Since 1988 Transfreight has expanded to become an emerging industry leader on an international basis, establishing customer base and operations in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Operations include over 15 facilities, over 1000 highway transportation units, and over 1000 employees. Transfreight's customer base has expanded steadily with success extending to dedicated services to CAMI Automotive (1995), Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (1997), Toyota Motor Sales vehicle service parts (1998), Toyota Motor Manufacturing Europe (2000), and other manufacturing related companies.
Created in 2000, this new academic teaching and research center was created to perform research, training, and development of issues related to transportation, logistics, and supply chain management. Team Discounts
It is recognized that there is definitive value of learning in teams. Groups of 3 or more booking at the same time from the same company receive a 10% discount. 5 or more receive a 15% discount. 7 receive a 20% discount. Only 1 discount is applicable per person.
Cancellation and Substitutions
-You may make substitutions at any time. Please notify us as soon as possible.
-All cancellations will carry a 15% administration fee. Please confirm your cancellation in writing. Regrettably, no refund can be made for cancellations received less that 10 working days prior to the conference date. This will also apply to attendees who are unable to attend on the day of the event.
