| Description |
The aim of this conference is to attract a diverse audience and facilitate communication across the interfaces of engineering and biology at the micro scale. In order to build this diverse audience, we must overcome several barriers. We must encourage researchers to move out of their comfort zone and reach out to peers across the interface. That is engineers must learn a bit about biology and biologists must learn a bit about engineering. Keynote and invited speakers will be chosen to help bridge this interface.
In addition, this will be a single session conference to facilitate interaction among all participants. The technical sessions will consist of both oral and poster sessions.
