Description “Racing Toward International Advancement in Propulsion Systems”- What better theme than this for the 38th AIAA/ASME/SAE/ASEE Joint Propulsion Conference and Exhibit to be held in the racing capitol of the world – Indianapolis. Indy, as it is fondly called, hosts the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400, and the United States Grand Prix races annually. Here, ‘times’ to complete the laps, advancements in engine technology and international competition/participation has become key ingredients for success. With the ever-shrinking world and with multi-national companies tapping the resources from all corners of the globe, the same ingredients are playing a dominant role in the ever-changing kaleidoscopic advancements occurring in the aero/space propulsion field. A myriad of best minds of the world will be presenting at this conference. Please plan to attend and participate. This is a technical forum providing the latest developments in propulsion science, technology, and applications. The conference focuses on liquid rocket propulsion, solid and hybrid propellant rockets, electric propulsion, nuclear and future flight systems, propellants and combustion, air-breathing propulsion, and energetic components and systems.
