This conference will address the current state of long-term care service delivery in New York State and the nation as well as innovative (and sometimes controversial!) alternative delivery methods and systems. Experts will discuss state and local policy issues and new approaches that increase consumer choice, address worker shortage problems, improve services for low-income elders, and change the overall culture of long-term care. An open forum will provide time for questions and the sharing of ideas between presenters and conference participants.
