On 17 March this year, the LDA is organising ‘The London Innovation Conference’ at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster. The one day conference hopes to attract around 500 participants, to encourage them to learn first-hand how innovation is a key driver for improved productivity and business success.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact in a combination of plenary and specialised seminars sessions. These will explore practical themes such as intellectual property, creativity and design business as well as practical solutions for finding funding and setting up business partnerships with London’s many Universities and research facilities.

This packed one-day event will be a mix of keynote presentations, hands-on seminars, an innovation clinic and a question and answer panel session. The emphasis will be on practical information, helpful advice and invaluable first-hand experience. Kirsty Wark a leading broadcast journalist will be the master of ceremonies for the event and the list of top level keynote speakers will include Lord Sainsbury of Turville, Sir Richard Sykes and Sir Derek Roberts.

Who should attend the London Innovation Conference? small to medium high-growth companies (small or medium enterprises) mature businesses which could benefit from new ideas companies in incubators/science parks companies which have not yet realised their potential to innovate academics and university staff aiming to exploit the knowledge base independent inventors and entrepreneurs. The cost of registration is as follows: Companies with 250 or less employees: £88.13 (£75.00 + £13.13 VAT). Companies with over 250 employees: £176.25 (£150.00 + £26.25 VAT).
