The aim of this three-day international conference is to facilitate the identification and exploitation of knowledge relevant to the
valorisation of food processing waste. This will be achieved by bringing together experts and representatives of the Food Industry, Scientific Community, Legislators and Consumer
organisations, to explore common themes from successful projects in adding value to co-products. The meeting will be run by the Institute of Food Research (IFR) under the sponsorship of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), and will comprise plenary lectures, short talks, poster sessions and focussed
workshops. Proceedings will be published by the RSC.
