3rd Summit of Serbia and Montenegro 2003
Venue: The Hyatt Regency Hotel
|Event Date/Time: Feb 24, 2003||End Date/Time: Feb 25, 2003|
The objective of the Summit is to examine the opportunities and challenges of political and economic cooperation in the Southeast European region with an emphasis on the most recent developments and future prospects in Serbia and Montenegro in particular.
This high-level conference is complemented by an international Exhibition of products and services, aiming to promote partnerships and collaboration between companies or individuals from abroad and local entrepreneurs and government institutions. The Exhibition provides local companies with the opportunity to broaden their scope internationally and foreign companies with the tools to initiate or consolidate their presence in Serbia and Montenegro.
The 1st Yugoslavia Summit took place in May 2001 with the participation of the President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Mr. Vojislav Kostunica. The 2nd Yugoslavia Summit was held in Belgrade in February 2002 with the participation of Serbian Prime Minister Dr. Zoran Djindjic. Further speakers included leading figures of the political, economic and entrepreneurial communities of Yugoslavia, Greece and many European countries. Over 800 delegates from international and Serbian companies and organizations participated during the last two conferences, laying the foundations for the establishment or consolidation of their activities in Yugoslavia. Moreover, the Federal Agency for Public & Media relations awarded TGI with the best prize for the organization of the 2nd Yugoslavia Summit and the excellent relations with the media and potential investors.
Continuous political and social change in the region ensures the increasingly important role of the Summit. In many ways, the Summit itself embodies the ideas, practices and professionalism which the entire region is working hard to adopt, and which point the way to its future integration with Europe and the international marketplace of commerce and ideas.
Staged for the 3rd consecutive year at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Belgrade, the 3rd Summit of Serbia and Montenegro 2003 is expected to attract an unprecedented number and level of speakers, delegates, and exhibitors.
