Introduction

Research Consortium on Africa (RCA), organizers of the Pollution Solutions Conference, is a not-for-profit organization which brings together businesses, governments, and research organizations to work on pollution solutions and energy efficiency issues.

Conference Theme: Government responsibility, environmental and corporate sustainability.

Our Objective is to bring to Albany, New York, international government and business leaders who are committed to environmental conservation, to discuss pollution solutions for sustainable development in Africa.

Our Goals in the process are to:

Translate the ideas, and proposals at the conference, into solutions for the environmental problems in the affected regions of Africa, particularly the Niger Delta Region, and to generate business opportunities for companies, and, expand export trade for pollution prevention equipment manufacturers and service providers.
Support high quality research by leading environmental scientists that will improve the scientific basis for decision making and policy guidelines on environmental issues in Africa.
Help RCA achieve its goal of government responsibility, environmental and corporate sustainability
Expected Outcomes:

Create a Pollution Solutions Partnership between leading environmental solutions companies and organizations and the various government and non government agencies in service areas like, oil spill remediation and clean-up, water contamination, and water shortages solid and hazardous waste treatment and management, pond stream and lake pollution, biological remediation and septic and sewage treatment.
Generate business opportunities through sales and consultation services to private, public and other stakeholders who need US P2 equipment and service technology.
