Description
The objective of this conference is to showcase the Midwest biotechnology scene composed of early and late stage companies to top venture capitalists. The states involved in this collaboration include Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
In addition to exposing the Midwest biotechnology scene to premier venture capital firms in the local region, the conference will also bring a national audience comprising the most prestigious firms. Moreover, these firms will have the opportunity to review top of the line life science companies from all over America.
To ensure high quality deal flow, the Mid-America Health Investment Syndicate, made up of equity capital leaders, will screen business plans and interview corporate executives. Selected entrepreneurs will also attend regional BIO Venture Forum Boot Camps to be intensively coached and provided with the tools needed to refine their presentations and grow their enterprises.
This forum is distinguished by its unique network of combined efforts among the states of the Midwest. It promises to be the conference that brings high-quality life science companies in Mid-America to the full attention of the national investment community.
