Conference & Workshops

Making Management Decisions with SAP BW

After the success of last year’s conference, TA Cook Conferences has decided to run a new event in 2003 on the SAP Business Information Warehouse solution (BW).
The conference is aimed at those who would like to find out more about the possibilities of this powerful reporting and data management tool and how it helps in decision making. Speakers from various industries will be presenting the approaches they have chosen for their BW implementation and tell you about how they managed to make it a success. You will also hear about the “tricky parts” of their journey and how they coped with it. The benefits of implementing SAP BW from a User perspective will also be covered. Companies presenting (including Pilkington UK, Novartis, Westland Helicopters, BOC Edwards etc.) will explain how this system helped them get a clearer overview of their organisation and be provided with up to date and accurate information for decision making. Senior representatives from SAP itself will also state their point of view and inform you about the latest development strategy of SAP in this area.
The conference is aimed at Senior Members of the Management Team and at Key Decision makers from the following departments: IT, SAP, Information Systems, Business Intelligence/Information Management, Business Development/Strategic Planning, Procurement & Purchasing, Reporting, Finance & Controlling.
If you have not as yet had the chance to become familiar with the Business Information Warehouse solution from SAP, we would highly recommend you to visit the pre-conference Workshop A to understand the basics, while Workshop B will give you a general overview of SAP Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM). After the 2 day conference, you will also have the opportunity to attend one of the post-conference workshops. The BW Best Practice Workshop C will follow the entire project lifecycle, focusing on what makes a BW project different, comparing it with both an ERP project and a Business Intelligence project and will be based on real project experiences. Workshop D will give you a general overview on Portals and present the possibilities and the advantages it offers.
