The application of chiral technology, particularly in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry, is advancing rapidly. CHIRAL EUROPE 2003 is the 20th international event in the series and will not only introduce new science, but will focus on some important applications by major companies in the sector.

The speakers at the conference are a mix of leading academics and industrialists from around the world and are all leaders in their fields. The topics are wide ranging, detailing the latest advances in asymmetric chemocatalysis, biocatalysis, new analytical and separation techniques and the development and manufacture of important chiral pharmaceuticals. There will be key note presentations by Professor Takao Ikariya, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan and Professor Barry Trost, Stanford University, USA.
