| Description |
PURPOSE
This conference is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in, and applications of, signal processing and pattern recognition. It is an opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas. All papers submitted to this conference will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution.
NOTE: IASTED is also accepting registrations from attendees who do not have papers to present.
SPPRA 2003 will be held in conjunction with the IASTED International Conferences on Computers and Advanced Technology (CATE 2003) and Biomechanics Development (BioMech 2003).
LOCATION
SPPRA 2003 will be held at the Rodos Palace Resort Hotel in the beautiful resort city of Rhodes, Greece. Rhodes (Rhodos or Rodos in greek), means the beautiful island of roses, and has a unique natural beauty that does not cease to impress its visitors. Also unique is its climate, with more sunny days than any other place in Europe. To experience the majesty of Rhodes, walk up the cobblestone streets, past austere guildhouses, to the impressive Crusader's Fortress. Or head out through orange and olive groves to the Acropolis of Lindos, which is spectacularly set overlooking the bluest of seas.
