This conference is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in, and applications of, modelling, simulation, and optimization. It is an opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas. All papers submitted to this conference will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution. ***NOTE:Registrations will be accepted from delegates with paper(s) to present as well as from those who want to attend without papers.

This year's MSO conference will take place at The Banff Centre in the townsite of Banff, Alberta, Canada. Banff National Park, the crown jewel of Canada’s national park system, is one of the world’s premier protected wilderness areas and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With over six thousand square kilometers of mountains, forests, rivers, and lakes, Banff is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Each year people from around the world come to marvel at the sapphire waters of Lake Louise, walk in the flower-laden fields of Sunshine Meadows, and drive beneath the towering, jagged peaks lining the Icefields Parkway. Be awe-inspired by the rugged alpine beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
