Welcome to the 51st Annual Energy IT Conference

This year's Energy IT Conference is just around the corner, and it'll be even better than last year's. We've made significant changes to improve its focus, making your attendance even more worthwhile.

It's the 51st Annual Energy IT Conference, 2003's premier and most exclusive event for top information technology managers of utilities and energy companies. The 2003 conference is co-sponsored by the Edison Electric Institute, American Gas Association and Platts Energy Business & Technology magazine. It will be held October 14-16 at the Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina in Tampa, Florida.

This year's show will be better than ever. We have replaced the vast exhibit hall with a smaller, more intimate Energy IT Showcase room in which attendees can network with their peers and key industry suppliers plus check out new products and services as well.

In addition, we have sharpened the focus of the conference by integrating more executive- level topics into the main body of the conference. We believe that these two changes will be instrumental in creating a smaller, more exclusive meeting that offers a greater value for attendees.

Few industries are as driven and shaped by IT as the energy industry, and no other conference addresses the needs of energy IT professionals so directly. This year's program explores the theme "Optimizing the Enterprise," and includes:
Two keynote presentations.
Two general session panels.
Eight critical issue sessions in two tracks-one focusing on management issues and the other on operations.
Together, you and your colleagues will explore such timely and important topics as:
Overseas outsourcing.
IT employee burnout
Justifying IT projects.
New developments in CIS and CRM.
The resurgence of work management, outage management and AMR
Asset management solutions that work.
The IT implications of Sarbanes-Oxley.
Infrastructure security.
Emerging technologies, and more.
Because the Energy IT Conference is designed by energy IT professionals, it deserves a place on your calendar. Why not visit today for more information and to register online?

We look forward to seeing you in Tampa!
