In a world of fast foods, junk foods, processed foods and other similar “temptations,” traditional diets may be the only viable alternatives; even though many specialists believe that traditional Mediterranean diets are endangered species.
The aim of the Congress is to examine, the origin, evolution, benefits and the state of research on such diets, as well as the potential and problems associated with their survival.
