New Times - New Strategies, the theme for PTC2004, is intended to emphasize the opportunities that now exist in the global marketplace for information and communication technologies (ICTs). While North America and Europe are still struggling to reinvigorate their economies, several Asian countries have surged ahead to take leadership positions in the uptake of new technologies. PTC’s annual conference offers a congenial venue to meet and interact with other major players in the Asia-Pacific region.

PTC’s annual conference has long been the most important event that ties Asia to the Americas and the rest of the world. It will be more important than ever in 2004, since other major regional events have been cancelled or delayed.

Plans are underway to bring a full spectrum of the latest industry focused information, through multiple featured sessions and informal discussion groups. The Call for Papers will be distributed on 19 May 2003. Register now and receive early registration discounts. For more information, contact Dolores Fung at +1.808.941.3789 or dolores@ptc.org.

PTC members enjoy 40% discount on the conference fee. If you are not a PTC member and are interested in joining, please email Justin Riel at Justin@ptc.org.
