Description The Penn Annual Conference maintains a tradition started in 1900. As the horizons of veterinary medicine have expanded, so has the scope of this conference. Attracting more than 1,000 veterinarians and veterinary technicians annually, the Conference offers a formal environment for learning as well as opportunities for informal one-on-one discussion with experts in many fields.

The 2004 Conference will be held Thursday and Friday, March 11 and 12, at the Adam's Mark Hotel in Philadelphia.

Companion animal topics for the 2004 Conference include laser surgery, critical care medicine, minimally invasive procedures, dentistry, pharmacology, respiratory disease, ophthalmology, and behavior.

Veterinary technician topics will include EKG monitoring, cardiac drugs, basic arterial blood gas interpretation, fluid therapy, understanding diabetic patients, exotics, dentistry, and dermatology.

Topics for equine and food animal practitioners will be announced soon.

An exhibit hall with more than 120 suppliers will open each day.

If you have any questions or need more information about the Penn Annual Conference, please send an e-mail to penn-conference@vet.upenn.edu or call (215) 898-4234.
