Fire Support is the collective and co-ordinated use of indirect fires, target acquisition data, armed aircraft, and other lethal and non-lethal means against ground targets in support of the manoeuvre force operations.
This year’s event aims to continue the work of the previous conferences by assessing the current role of Indirect Fire Support within an ever-changing 21st Century.

The conference aims to analyse international indirect fire support programmes that are being developed in order to maintain current operational capability and to meet future defence policy requirements. In addition, the event will incorporate key operational case studies presented by senior personnel from the Royal Marines and the Royal Navy, taken from action during the Iraqi Freedom conflict.
