This conference is organized under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and with the support of the International Institute of Forensic Studies and the Australian Advocacy Institute.
Consistent with our aims, The Greek Conference 2004 will present a detailed academic, professional and cultural program based on

Ethics, Etiquette and Culture
(Perspectives of Professional Lives)
Our Convenors and Committees are in the process of finalizing the professional program. Full details of that program and our exciting initiatives will be published shortly, and will include:  
Keynote speaker – Professor Peter Doherty AC, the 1996 joint-winner of the Nobel Prize for Medicine.Therapeutic Jurisprudence – presentation and workshop with Professor David Wexler, from the University of Arizona.Contributions from : Professor Spyros Marketos, Professor Dimitrios Tatoulis, Dr Gael McDonald, Professor Theodoros Couloumbis, Dr Roger Sworder and Felicity Hampel QC.
A structured cultural and tour program, including trips to Knossos, Gortoys, Phaestos and Chania, as well as a special commemorative event to mark the 63rd Anniversary of the Battle of Crete.
A detailed academic, professional and cultural program will be presented on the Conference’s themeEthics, Etiquette and Culture

As an adjunct to The Greek Conference 2004, to recognize Australian commitments in Europe, there are planned supplementary programs (pre- and post- Conference) with Turkey (Istanbul and Gallipoli) and France (the northern battlefields through to Paris). In addition, there will be specific recognition of the Battle of Crete on its 63rd Anniversary.
