Description
This is an advanced-level program on methods for performing cost-effectiveness analysis of pharmaceutical and medical technologies. Knowledge of cost-effectiveness analysis at the level of Drummond et al. (Methods for the Economic Evaluation of Health Care Programmes) and Gold et al. (Cost-Effectiveness in Health and Medicine) will be assumed. There will be little, if any, review of basic concepts, in order to allow maximum time to address technical challenges in designing and performing cost-effectiveness analysis in real-world settings.
