| Description |
The ICESA ’04 Organizing Committee cordially invites contributors from academia, industry and research to submit their original research and/or a proposal to organize a workshop or a panel discussion in the area of Enterprise Systems and Accounting. The theme of the conference is “The Future of Enterprise Systems and Accounting: New Directions and Challenges for Education”. Wide Enterprise Systems are at present the prevailing form of the transactional computing platform of most organizations worldwide. Accounting is largely performed via enterprise systems. The conference seeks to investigate thoroughly the linkage and interaction between Enterprise Systems (ES), Accounting and Education. Presenters and attendees are expected to come from both the MIS and the Accounting fields. To facilitate program cohesion and organization, submissions will fall into the following streams: ES and Accounting, ES and Business, ES and Education.
