The PDE Technology short course is designed to present an overview of air-breathing Pulse Detonation Engines, including detonation combustion theory, performance metrics, fuels and initiation systems, detonation research, technical challenges, and opportunities for development of PDEs. The instructors are renowned experts from government and industry organizations who are actively engaged in PDE propulsion research and development. They will discuss state-of-the-art, challenges, and development trends.
