This course is focused on the design and operation of satellite propulsion systems as seen from the satellite operations perspective. An overview of the design of various systems is discussed along with detailed information on the telemetry parameters that are typically monitored. In addition, information regarding typical propulsion system anomalies and how they have been resolved by various operations teams is presented. Various systems are discussed including: mono-propellant hydrazine, bi-propellant, and electric.
