Description This conference will provide up-to-date information and useful tools for those who work with individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. The keynote address will examine the latest in diagnosis and drug treatment. Experts will discuss social interventions; dementia in special populations including racial minorities; low-income rural dwelling; developmentally disabled persons; pain assessment and management; case management approaches; Parkinson's disease; and coping skills for family and professional caregivers.
