The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, a Sharp HealthCare affiliate, is very proud to sponsor the Twelfth International Conference devoted exclusively to Gene Therapy of Cancer. Leading researchers from around the world will present the latest results of their pre-clinical and clinical studies of cancer treatment using gene therapy technology. The design of the program includes sessions focusing on vector systems, tumor suppressors, apopotosis, antisense-ribozymes-RNAsi, hematopoietic gene transfer, drug resistance, therapy sensitization, immunotherapy and vaccines. Each topic session will begin with an overview of the field and the current status of human clinical trials. Invited speakers will be followed by the presentation of proffered abstracts describing recent clinical and pre-clinical data. There will be an afternoon devoted to discussion sessions with additional oral and poster presentations from submitted abstracts. Abstracts will be accepted for poster presentation.
This conference will be of interest to clinical oncologists, molecular biologists, cellular biologists, tumor immunologists and other interested health professionals and researchers working in this exciting field.
By popular demand, once again we are holding this year's conference at the historic Hotel Del Coronado, a San Diego seaside resort conducive to learning as well as relaxation. We cordially invite you to participate in the Twelfth International Gene Therapy of Cancer Conference.
