| Description |
Celebrate Wake County’s 50+ population— one of the fastest growing demographics in North Carolina —at the Eighth Annual Golden Jubilee Expo 2004 on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 in the Jim Graham Building of the NC State Fairgrounds, in Raleigh.
Over 2,500 senior citizens, caregivers and families attended last years Golden Jubilee.
The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on May 26, 2004. There will be no cost to attend the Senior Expo—it’s free to the public!
The Senior Expo will provide resources and information that will foster healthy and productive lifestyles for people 50+ and their families. A wide range of health screening services will be offered at minimal or no cost to those attending.
Participants can enjoy stage entertainment including a Fashion Show and various dance performances. There will also be a grand prize drawing and lots more!
Over 100 exhibitors will host booths at the event where seniors and their caregivers can receive helpful information.
Parking is free, and access to the event hall is easy—no stairs. There are free shuttles from various locations including many local senior centers.
The doors will open at 9:00 a.m.!
