The 25th Annual McMaster World Congress is returning with full force!
The McMaster World Congress is an annual business conference that draws hundreds of corporate executives, recognized academics, and student leaders together to discuss and advance leading issues in the fields of Corporate Governance, Electronic Business, and Intellectual Capital and Innovation. The conference runs from January 14th to the 16th, 2004 at the Hamilton Convention Centre, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Last year, the conference hosted over 825 delegates from 35 different countries.
Not only does the McMaster World Congress have such a wide scope of delegates geographically, but it also draws attendees from a variety of professional backgrounds. Since the fields of governance, e-business, and intellectual capital and innovation are extremely influential in all areas of business development; success in these fields requires both practitioners and academics to continually update their skills and knowledge in the two areas. The conference helps to expand knowledge in these three key areas by discussing current and future trends, methodologies and research.
Your three days in Hamilton will include exciting case studies, presentations and panel discussions with business leaders and top academics, as well as the:
International E-Case Competition: Competing graduate students from various academic institutions analyze and present real world e-business problems. This three-day event begins prior to the McMaster World Congress with the final presentations, judging and award ceremonies taking place on the opening day of the Congress.
Business & Technology Expo: Exhibitors and sponsors showcase new cutting edge products and expertise. Previous exhibitors include: Industry Canada, BitNet.
Ph. D. Consortium: Ph. D. candidates from around the globe present their ideas and research for potential projects. These ideas are opened up to the floor for debate, insight, partnerships, and scrutiny. It offers a glimpse into future trends in e-business.
Knowledge Cafe: Open focus group discussions are featured on vital business issues. Everyone participates as key issues are debated and analyzed. This is a McMaster World Congress signature event!
