| Description |
The conference will provide an interdisciplinary forum for mutual research communications between solid state physicists, photo-physicists, photo-chemists and photo-biologists, as well as material scientists. It is designed to consolidate research on excitonic processes in inorganic and organic systems, offering an overview of the field, from both the experimental and theoretical sides. The main topics are:
- Excitonic and Polaritonic Condensation and Superfluidity
- Coherent Excitonic Processes
- Nonlinear Excitonic Processes
- Exciton-Lattice Interaction
- Photoinduced Structural Phase Changes
- Core Electron Excitations
- Excitons in Semiconductors and Quantum Confined Systems
- Excited States and Excitons in Disordered and Amorphous Systems
- Excitons in Organic Materials and Polymers
- Energy Transfer in Biological Systems
- Nanostructure Materials
- Photonic Crystals
- Temporally and Spatially Resolved Spectroscopy of Excitons
