Description
This conference will attract professors and graduate students of educational practices, policy and law, global educators, policy-maker, government representatives, educational researchers and theorists, teachers, and other faculty and students in fields such as health and public administration The 2004 conference will be held Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5, 2004, in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. Proposal Guidelines
Please submit abstracts of 300 words or less through the conference website. The proposal submission deadline is February 15, 2004. Two types of proposals will be accepted:
• Individual paper
An individual paper involves a single paper by one or more authors. Individual paper will be grouped thematically by the conference organizers.
• Organized panel
A panel includes at least three papers (each with one or more authors), organized around a particular theme. When submitting an organized panel proposal, be sure to include the names and affiliations of each author. In addition, there will be invited speakers and symposia, graduate student programs, and informal conversation hours.
Examples of Topics
• International comparisons of educational policy or practices
• Innovative educational practices
• Education reform or adaptation to new or changing contexts
• Analyses of education law
• Impact of health or environment on education
• Human rights or peace education

• Registration before 4/15: $50.00(U.S.).
• Registration after 4/15: $60.00(U.S.).
• Student Registration before 4/15:$25.00
• Student Registration after 4/15: $30.00
Students must show current ID at the door.
