With demands greatly exceeding resources available in extreme crisis situations, innovation is essential. Technology is one force multiplier, which if properly harnessed, can bring practical and timely solutions to our Homeland Security challenges.
Technology and its application to Homeland Security is the unique focus of this summit. The objectives are to:
·Understand the key Homeland Security issues facing public and private sectors;
·Establish what can and should be done to address these challenges in a practical, cost effective, and timely manner;
·Explore a range of existing and new technologies that can enable Homeland Security solutions – extensive demos will be available and several new technologies will be unveiled for the first time.
·Define a roadmap for technologies which will be required to be developed;
·Build a collaborative framework between the private and public sectors to jointly create, design, implement, and rollout Homeland Security solutions.
·Provide a unique networking environment.
To achieve these objectives, Ozonelink is bringing together experts from the international private and public sectors in a two-day summit in Research Triangle Park, a global technology hotbed. Summit delegates comprise 500 to 700 leaders from government, business, and academia.
Who should attend? Anyone connected or concerned with the security issues of a country, government employees, institutions, or organizations – from the largest to the smallest.
