Description The 2nd & 3rd Annual International Conferences of The Institute of Philosophy aim to provide an opportunity to discuss on individual research in a new perspective based on the collaboration of cultural, cross-cultural and tribal faith based philosophical studies. The philosophical heritage to the future generations is a common asset of mankind by fully utilizing advanced information about various philosophical researches and inventions.


The Himalayan Kingdom is apparently one of the most suitable places to host this conference because Nepal is popular to gain the resources for Ancient Philosophies. The philosophy of Buddhism originating in ancient Nepal and India and traveled thousands miles across Asia and ends in Japan. One can even observe the influence of ancient philosophy on one of the city's oldest temples as a Living heritage. Thus, Nepal is positively the primary source of religious philosophy's gateway for cultural encounters with other civilizations. The great benefits of attending the Conference is that a participant can have a unique experience to visit the living cultural heritage, the highest peak Mt. Everest and the birth place of Lord Buddha - The light of Asia.

Authors are invited to submit their papers related to Philosophical studies. Proposals should be sent to the Conference Secretariat either by e-mail or by post mail postmarked No later than October 30, for 2004 and 2005. The official languages are Nepali & English.
