| Description |
Indian Association of Special Libraries and Information Centres ( IASLIC ) was established in 1955 as a non-profit making national body to promote quality in the profession through improvement in technical efficiency and act as a nodal point for information in scientific and other related fields. To commemorate its Golden Jubilee it is planned to organise an International Conference on Information Management in a Knowledge Society. In this context the association takes the opportunity to invite your participation in the conference being organised at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai from February 21 – 25 2005.
The objective of the conference is to juxtapose knowledge generation & development through various information management processes and the associated technologies. The Conference will provide a platform for bringing to the fore local and global initiatives in this area encompassing research as well as practical applications. This interaction is expected to create understanding of the needs of the various players in the creation
of knowledge.
Prominent National and International experts will address the delegates attending the conference. The conference will be an unique opportunity to showcase original papers & case studies on various facets such as Knowledge Society, Information Management, Knowledge Management and Digital Libraries.
