The management of water in the oil and gas industry is an issue of concern that has been recently heightened by the provincial target of reducing water use by 30% over 10 years. The oil and gas industry is working to find new and innovative ways to manage their water use, and industry is developing productive relationships with stakeholder groups to tackle this critical issue together, but much work has yet to be done.
