To coincide with Ireland’s presidency of the European Union, a major conference is being held in Dublin to highlight the healthcare challenges and issues facing the current and future ten new members.

Aims of the Conference:

-To discuss the major health reforms currently underway in Europe.

- To discuss the increasing role of the private health sector in publically funded health systems, and identify future opportunities.

- To discuss the role and influence of health insurance in the new Europe.

- To discuss consumer health issues and influences and assess their impact.

- To examine the current and future roles of the pharmaceutical industry in the provision of improved health services.

The conference is particularly aimed at:

Leading planners and policy-makers within public and private healthcare in Europe

Senior executives from the pharmaceutical and related sectors and from major suppliers of services and goods to the healthcare sector

Representatives from healthcare insurance providers

Senior Clinicians and registrars in the public and private sector

Local and National political representatives

Additional Information

The Participant fee ( 650 euro )covers the conference programme, conference material, the Evening Reception on Wednesday 23rd June, Gala Dinner on Thursday 24th June, lunch each day, coffee during the scheduled breaks but no accomodation. The Accompanying persons rate ( 175 euro )covers the Evening Reception on Wednesday 23rd June and Gala Dinner on Thursday 24th June plus a half day panoramic tour of Dublin, described in the social programme
