GPs with Special Interests
|Event Date/Time: Jun 22, 2004||End Date/Time: Jun 22, 2004|
The NHS Plan has set out the target of creating 1000 new General Practitioners with Special Interests (GPwSIs) and to improve access and convenience to primary care services which are delivered closer to patients' homes.
Many PCTs already realise the benefits of GPwSIs but funding, recruiting, developing and managing the process are hurdles to implementing services. This conference will help you to overcome these barriers and realise the benefits of GPwSIs, such as improved patient care, reduced strain on acute trusts and increased GP retention.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This event is essential for managers, directors and department heads in PCTs, SHAs and Acute Trusts who are responsible for:
Primary Care, Modernisation, Commissioning, Strategic Development, GPwSI Project Management, Outpatient Improvement, Performance Management, Service Improvement, Health Reform & Health Improvement.
