The e-Crime Congress Wales offers a hands-on, non-technical approach and will empower delegates to become aware of the current trends and issues surrounding e-crime. Key figures from industry, government and law enforcement will share their expertise through plenary time and Q&A sessions. Further interaction will be provided by panel discussions where key experts will discuss set scenarios; the outcomes of these sessions will then be examined by all attendees in plenary. Networking opportunities have been designed to benefit delegates, allowing time and exposure to key industry and professional experts as well as allowing time to meet with both old and new colleagues.

A unique and vitally important calendar event, the e-Crime Congress Wales will bring together the relevant stakeholders and operational actors in law-enforcement, the public and private sectors, concerned with and responsible for information assurance, security and strategy in the Welsh economy. Focusing on partnership, resilience and risk, the congress will explore identity theft and business continuity in the face of electronic attack and analyse emerging trends in electronic crime.

Through the e-Crime Congress Wales, the Welsh Development Agency is demonstrating a commitment to a programme of education, investment and support that will encourage a new generation of companies to build secure and crime-resistant foundations for the South West’s economic future.
