Description

The main challenges in making the commercialization processes successful include: getting access to funding, the existing tech transfer process, the challenges of research spin outs and ownership of intellectual property.
The stream of undeveloped technology represents a largely untapped resource that innovative companies and venture capitalists are interested in cultivating both in the U.S. and abroad. This conference will highlight the expertise and best practices of those organizations with effective models. IBF is presenting this Second Annual Conference to facilitate new ideas and best practices. In addition, the conference will facilitate collaboration on the part of tech transfer executives from universities and non-profit research institutions, corporate new business development executives and venture capitalists.
This conference has both a life sciences and technology focus and will include case study illustrations.
